2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup heavy cream, chilled
1 cup whole milk, chilled
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Make the Strawberry Swirl:
In a saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens into a sauce (about 5–7 minutes).
Let cool completely, then blend slightly for a smooth but textured sauce.
Whip the Cream:
In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Prepare the Ice Cream Base:
In another bowl, mix the milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until combined. Gently fold in the whipped cream to create a light, creamy mixture.
Layer and Swirl:
Pour half of the ice cream base into a freezer-safe container. Drizzle half of the strawberry sauce over it. Add the remaining ice cream base and top with the rest of the sauce. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the strawberry sauce into the ice cream.
Freeze:
Cover the container and freeze for at least 6 hours, or until firm.
Serve:
Scoop into bowls or cones, and enjoy the fruity, creamy delight with beautiful strawberry swirls!
A refreshing, homemade treat bursting with the flavor of summer strawberries. 🍓❄️✨
